Reversing Camera

I have a 30' Crossroads Sunset Trail Reserve SF28BH, that I pull with a 2003 Ford F250 7.3L. Crewcab 4x4. Recently I have been interested in purchasing a reversing camera system. I want to go wireless and the three best wireless reversing camera systems I have found are the:

Rear View Safety Digital Wireless 7" Quad Camera System
RVS-CW-CAM
@ B&H for $299.99 Free Shipping

7" Monitor with Built In Wireless CCD Mounted RV Backup Camera
SKU90113
@ Tadi Brothers for $289.99 + $16.30 Shipping

Jensen Voyager Digital Wireless 7" Backup Camera System
WVOS713
@ RV Cams Inc.com for $540.00 + $16.02 Shipping

I am open to the pros and cons of these reversing camera systems, as I believe those of us in the RVing world are the best source for true and factual reviews of products.

Thank you,

I have a 34' 5th wheel pulled by a Dodge Cummins 4X4 Long bed.

I tried to save some $$ by going with the Tadi Bro's 7" Monitor with Built In Wireless CCD Mounted RV Backup Camera. Read a bunch of reviews finally pulled the trigger and was very disappointed. I tried moving the antenna closer. Still crap. Sent it back got the full refund. Their customer service is spot on.

I then bought the Voyager Digital Wireless 7" Backup Camera. Here is a perfect example of YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!
Awesome system. Easy to install. Excellent reception. Clear picture. Great night vision.

I hope this helps and happy Pulling!

I have a wireless. I cut & spliced the camera & power cables & moved the transmitter closer to the monitor. Perfect reception now.

As mentioned above: There are transmitters and receivers you can use Amazon page of transmitters and receivers that you put close to each other on either side of the hitch and wire the rest of the connection.

I used a telephone jack connector and had it attached to the 7 way plug, so that every time I plugged in the 7 way I also plugged in the phone jack for the camera to monitor wire.

One trick I had to use was I put the monitor (13 in TV) in my back window and used the rear view mirror to see the monitor. That removed the reverse view I was getting from my camera, since my camera was not bu.

I have the Voyager WVOS-511 system on my 40' Cedar Creek.

To stop bad and loss of reception I had to purchase and install the following.

1) WVOSANTEXT 80" Antenna Extension

2) WVOSANT-EXT 35' Extension cable for wireless camera antenna

Now with the antenna mounted on the front cap I have uninterrupted
reception.

Rule of thumb with "wireless"

The closer the transmitter is to to the monitor, the better reception.

I'm an expert in only one field....I believe it's somewhere in Kansas.

I've had several wireless systems and they were all junk. They had interference and/or the cams fogged up.
Running a small wire is easy and allows you to use standardized, better quality cams. The one I ended up with is the Rostra system with a 4.3" screen.
Works great and has a clear image.

I've looked into them too, but I keep getting reports of poor reception when used on a TT or FW. So I'll be following this thread to see if anyone has had success in a set up similar to yours.
