Roof spot light and airhorn question

Just purchased a 1987 GBM ( class A ). I noticed 2 items on the roof up front. #1, looks like a remote controlled spot light. I dont see where it could be controlled inside the cab. Any idea's on what to look for?

Also, I see what looks like a nice set of air horns. I do have a rocker switch on the dash that reads " Horn ", but nothing. Any idea's?

There's always the possibility that it might be an electric trumpet horn rather than an air horn, particularly if you can't see any sign of an air hose or tank or associated appurtenances.

The air horn has a solenoid between it and the air source. Going price for solenoid around $40. More for the Hadley branded solenoids.
Brother-in-laws motorhome would pop a fuse when he hit the air horn. Appears the solenoid is shorted.
Check ALL fuses and dont forget to dump the air pressure B4 tearing into any air lines.
Keep us posted on your progress.

UPDATE: I found the spot light joystick and power switch! It was installed in front of the steering column, so when sitting in the drivers seat, you really don't notice it. Works wonderfully! Left/right/up/down and bright as heck!

As for the spot light, I can not find any joy stick controller, anywhere. When I switch the horn rocker on the dash, I still get the automotive horn when I press the steering wheel horn button. I called previous owner, and he had no idea. He owned it for 13 years and never tried to use either. I guess next step would be to figure out how to drop the overhead dash and look around. Also will try to find an air tank hiding someplace.

I have a "Klaxion" double-trumpet above my seat. It is aimed sideways. If an oncoming big rig fails to extinguish super headlights and 8 auxiliaries they get a rude surprise. "Shave And A Haircut" in Mexico is extremely offensive.

Air horn needs air pressure to operate.

On the dash look for a 'Joystick' or Joy pad for the light, It will have an on/off and either 4 buttons arranged in a square or a "joy stick" type thing.

For the Air Horn turn on toggle press horn ring/button on wheel.

A post that will likely be deleted, but, PLEASE don't use either when in proximity to other sentient beings who can see/hear you! Thanks

Remote controlled spotlights on RV did not seem to last a long time. When I priced a marine model for the Kelley II, I about fell over backward. Apparently the RV version isn't quite as pricey or durable.

Our spotlight uses a remote control to turn it on / off, rotate and tilt it.

Not sure about the light, but in the trucks I drive the horn rocker switch switches between a regular car horn or the air horn. Whichever one is selected is what you get when you hit the steering wheel horn button.
