RV Battery pricing

What are you guys paying for batteries? Looking at $150+ for a 12V RV battery up here (CA).

stop at wal mart and get them, if you ever have trouble there just about every where , I have 7 wal mart batteries some 5yrs old and no problems. tape your reciept to the battery in a baggy, with duck tape. or you,ll loose it.if you have batteries that sit for a month?? you should have a trickle charger on it. battery maint will determine the life of a battery.

Might be worth it to join Costco for one year just to take advantage of the low cost batteries. I promise you'll find a bunch of other stuff you can't live without too. 😉

Don't belong to Costco or Sam's club.

Nearest Costco is 200Kms away. No Sam's clubs in Canada.

Sooooo.....any other USA ideas? I'm going to be in Maine in August so I plan on getting one then.

I saw 12 volt marine batteries at Costco for $87. They were 115 amp-hour units.

79 bucks for a group 27 @ 90 Ah rating... Sams club NJ... The group 24 are 75 Ah and the same price.

Duracell marine deep cycle.

Due to weight constraints and size I am going the two group 24 route in parralell,,

The 6 volt golf carts are the same price kind of @ 89 bucks. They are bigger and heavier but pack 215 Ah....Need two though. And if one falls you cant get by. At least the 12v you can take one off line.....
