Schwintek two motor slide out retaining screw

I checked the other wonderful posts but none were exactly like the issue I am having. My fifth wheeler Vengeance is brand new but the Schwintek two motor slide out doesn't work. Slide unit is stuck fully in. One motor works and moves properly but the other motor is dead (confirmed bad motor). The motors are accessible from the inside of the RV but held in place with one screw that is accessible only from the outside. Very nice manuals and videos shows that you remove the motor retaining screw and push the motor one inch up and out. One problem. The motor retaining screw is located on the outside and I can not move the motor upwards one inch up to disengage the motor from the gears (thus mechanically stuck). Unplugging the motors to take the brake off doesn't work. To recap, a stuck dead motor that is frozen and no way to get to the retaining screw. Up to a $500,000.00 reward for a good answer. That is correct.... somewhere between $0 to $500,000.00. Just having fun. Thanks for the help.

Did you try to push it out manually? Here is a quote from a Schwintech manual:

3-7 Will non moving side move with help

If only 1 side of the room is moving as in 3-6 above, then with someoneโ€™s assistance press the switch to extend or retract the room while pushing the non moving side in the appropriate direction. On larger rooms it may be necessary to have 2 or more people pushing the room.

Thank you. I don't remember seeing a cover plate but will double check. As far as the motor being bad, because the unit had two motors on the controller, I swapped the electrica leads from the controller to the motor and used the good motor's wiring harness to assure power going to the bad motor. I also used the override function on the controler but still no luck. The dealer is far away and all local RV dealers will take months to get to it...otherwise I would drop it off at an authorized dealership. Thanks for the help.

Can you post a pic of that access plate? I have NEVER seen any Schwintek mechanism that can be accessed from the outside when the room is retracted. The outside metal flange always covers the motor access screw when retracted. Doug

I do NOT understand your problem. It is stuck IN, UNDER WARRANTY. TAKE IT TO YOUR DEALER. They will fix it. WHY do you want to extend a broken room under warranty????? Curious, HOW did you determine it IS a bad motor? It could be the wire harness from the Controller to the motor, or the controller could be bad. Have you tried to engage the system in override mode?
