Splendide Stackable Dryer Repair

Our Splendide washer + dryer have worked well for us during the past 2 1/2 years. We are happy with this setup. The dryer has quit working. We had electricians check our RV today to make sure our electrical system is functioning correctly + is not the cause of the dryer not working.

We are on our dream trip around the USA + Canada. We are in Vermont then will be headed down NY to PA + VA.

Can you recommend a Splendide dryer repairman from any of those states? We are flexible enough to stay in one place for several days so the parts can be ordered + the replacement parts can be installed. Thank you.

Thats funny. There are over 400 appliance repair companies that are authorized buy Splendid and not all service only ones in RV's. When the heating element failed on ours,I contacted Westland and they directed me to a local appliance repair service that had the part on hand. They are an authorized Splendid warranty service and repair center along with all other major brands; so your statement is only partially true.

There is nothing special about regular Washer/Dryer's also. Unless you have a $1000 model with the electronic controls. The difference is---Westland will walk you thru the diag and sell you the part. TRY THAT with a Home Washer/Dryer from the appliance maker:B Doug

I repaired ours myself and I am not an appilance tech.
There is nothing special about them and all components are available online.
There is a timer, heating element, motor, drive belt.
Westland has exelent customer support and will walk you through troubleshooting on the phone.

Contact Westland and get a qualified repair tech who knows the product and how to work on these machines in RVs. Not all appliances are made the same and very few are installed in RVs and few techs who know how to work on one an RV. Most parts are not interchangeable with residential appliances.

I would bet, your standard Household appliance repair center will NOT have Splendide parts in stock. But, Splendide can expedite parts anywhere in the USA within a few days. Doug
