Tear in Valance

My Carefree awning has a 4 inch tear at the fwd end at the Valance. Can it be repaired? Heard Carefree was snotty so haven't called them. Thanks

Thanks, Will get er done then. Going to study the problem whilst I sip a cold one, eat chips, peel a bushel of tomatoes and plan supper.
