Tire valve extenders. (SOLVED)

I have a 2008 Sprinter 3500 with dual rear tires.
I want valve extenders so I can monitor/check air pressure in the duals without having to remove the wheel covers. I want individual extenders and not both tires connected to one check point. The outside tires already have the 135* bends on them but I still have to remove the wheel cover.

Congratulations! You'll like the Valves. I don't know a thing about balancing beads, but it seems many members here like them.

I ordered a set of Borg metal valves for the dually today. Now I need to buy some balancing beads .

Very well stated! Our RV is on Ford, but we have BORG, got them from a truck enthusiast shop, had the four custom and three standard valves installed (and wheels balanced) for about $100. This IS the way to go. I can check all our tires in minutes and find they don't need air for months.

I needed a replacement BORG valve (after I damaged it dropping a dismounted wheel) and Bill shipped it cross country overnight. I mention this because if a local CW doesn't have your kit, one can still be in your hands in very short order.

Skip valve "extenders". Spend the $ once and switch to Dually Valve STEMS. I use Borg - guess Camping World now carries them - I got mine direct. No chance of leak between extender and stem, since it it a single unit. Cost me $100 to get 7 metal stems installed at local (truck) tire dealer on our Sprinter - rear stems (4) were about $100. Camping World carry The "Daully Valve" line of valve extenders. They cost about 75.00 and have all you need for the daullys.

Thanks Midnight, Five of my six read 80# but the outside left reads ZERO. Will have to take it off tomorrow and repair. Bought a new 19mm impact socket for it today. Impact off and Torque wrench on.

A good tire shop should have no problem installing signal extenders to the out side rim,mines a 2007 sprinter 3500 series. first shop screwed it up they leaked ,sec shop same thing. third place RV PRO in alliance ohio did it right ,been four months and not a leak. all six tires read 80# within a pound.
