Where can I find replacement for worn out spline, cap material around roof vent, at the upper margin, where the lid seals to the base? Windy but I hope it explained what I need. Thanks all in advance.

Have to agree with Chris on this one, tried the hardware stuff and it did not seal right, leaving gaps toward the rear of the lid.

The Ventline seal is made for this application.
Picked some up from the glass shop. I'll report back.
The stuff from the hardware store does not stand tall enough to seal around the lid. You were correct sir. I have two sets on the way.

Good deal. Listening to what Chris has to say on things has saved me money and a lot of time. He is a Pro.
That was the same problem I had,so I went with the Ventline.

Hope that it all works out for you.:B

Ventline makes a replacement gasket that fits the top edge of the base- http://www.amazon.com/Ventline-BVD0455-01-51-Vinyl-Seal/dp/B007HRN4N4

That's available at many more places- just used Amazon as an example.
