Not sure where to post this question, but I'll stay here. ...
We're looking to add one. The Dometic, Midea & BestAppliance branded units sure do look identical. ...all with different price tags. I'm starting to think that Midea (China) makes all these & they are just rebranded.

Any thoughts? I know drying will also be an issue....

I have a '99 Splendide vented ..it has been faithful all this time...when I got mine when I bought new I saw "Made in Italy"...all I could think of was Fiat...but it has been great.

I have a Splendide 2000 and just loved the thing to death. Their technical support is fantastic and with their assistance kept it running for the past ten years. Seems like it is in constant use when on the road. It is now time to replace as it is just plain tired and worn out. Going to replace with the Splendide 2100.

Not familiar with those. But Splendide has a very good reputation on RV washer/dryers. We have a vented combo Splendide purchased new with our 2007 5er. Still works great.

Splendid makes a combo washer and dryer and come from Italy. We have one that came in our 2001 Beaver DP. It is a non vented unit and does a decent job but doesn't completely dry all the way. But what we do is wash a load of shirts, then after they dry some, we remove and hang up to finish drying. No big deal to us but I have heard the vented to outside dry better.

If we had the room I would install a stackable washer/dryer.
