I replaced all my seals (1/2 inch) with foam seal from Lowes. It's appears that was a poor choice as it hold water like a sponge. It is more of a foam type material. It think I need a rubber type seal / gasket. Where can I purchase the proper material? Tks, CWT

Do a search for Steel Rubber Products. They have a huge selection of rubber weatherstripping of all shapes and sizes.

Re lowes etc.. : that's what I'm using - not good. It's foam and holds water.

Found the proper rubber seal on large roll at E-trailer.

Mine wasn't foam, I was able to find the rubber type like came on the MH originally and it was even white. Something like this.

Thanks- already have that type... I use on my roof vents. I was seeking ( sorry did not make clear) 1/2 rubber for exterior compartment doors. Found it at E-trailer today. Used to buy on eBay.... Seems many of the Rv supply houses are no longer on eBay.

I see your in Florida. You know anyone in your area that works on vintage Airstreams? Looking for someone in Florida or Midwest to install plumbing & cabinets. Tks, cwt

I bought some from either Lowes or Home Depot, it was almost an exact match for what came on my Hurricane. I believe it was with the exterior door sweeps and such.
