What do you do about the water pump? Flush it with a little AF?

I have blown the lines on 30 trailers for 10+ years and never had a problem with just running the pump dry for a minute or less.
2015 Eclipse Iconic Toy Hauler made by Eclipse Manufacturing which is a pile of junk. If you want to know more just ask and I'll tell you about cracked frames, loose tin, walls falling off, bad holding tanks and very poor customer service.

I thought about that but mine is really hard to get to. Decided to run a gallon of AF through the lines after I blew them out which kind of defeated the purpose of why I wanted to blow them out as opposed to using AF.

That was a good thread/link.

I see 3 years later people are now pushing just air on the forum. I guess some will have issues and we'll then go back to the common knowledge we had back in 2012.

I buy a cheap toilet hose at the hardware store. Fits on my pump intake perfect, and the other end draws out of an AF bottle. Keep it with the rig, simple.

Yes. Running it dry will pump the water out and air through it. Enough air so that nothing will freeze.

I use anti-freeze; AF is passes through the water pump on it way to the hot and cold lines, so the pump must be full of AF after winterizing.
