1989 Fleetwood Prowler. What is this power switch/box?

Renovation and electrical upgrade on 1989 Fleetwood Prowler 28ft TT. What is this electrical box/switch? This cord comes out of the bedroom wall about 1-foot from where the AC feeds (from breakers) go INTO the wall. It seems to be disconnected from whatever it toggles, but I have elec-taped the ends and treating it as "hot" until I know what it is.

I will definitely look into this. My water heater is located exactly right there by this cord and the TT fusebox. The heater is a atwood g6a-7 (propane only, from what I can tell). Maybe this went to a previous water heater? The water connections to the heater are in the floor/background of the pics I provided above.

I have a 92 Prowler and it looks like my Hot water heater electric element control box. I do not know why it would be in the bedroom though. Mine was attached to the side of the water heater, but looks just like your picture and had several coils inside. Yours has what looks like 120V wires leading in which is also like my water heater control.

I had a 1991 Prowler and I never saw a box like that on mine. I wonder if it was something a previous owner added then kept when they sold it.?. I'd have to plug the camper in and put a meter on those wires and see what's coming out.

BTW, we had some good times in that old camper. It was heavy but, a decent camper.

Jarata, that was me that made copies of my manuals and uploaded them. I don't see this switchbox in the electrical schematics.

Budwich, thanks for the advice. I will be getting to the furnace in a week or two. For now, I am focused on finishing the bedroom renovation (including "power center" remodel/upgrades)...so it would be great for now just to know what this switched wire goes to. 🙂

simple enough to check your "postulation" about the furnace / fan. Get a meter and check to see whether the wiring ends up at the furnace.

but seriously, I have no problem permanently leaving this line "out of commision" and tucked away....but I would certainly like to know what it is for. It may go to something that I would want to be in use?? For all I know, this is why the furnace blower is not turning on..?? (just got this TT as my first TT....checking it out and making repairs/renovations/upgrades one system at a time...)
