2000 F250 replacement headlight assemblies

Any opinions on replacement headlight assemblies for the F250?

Mine are now so fogged that it is dangerous to drive at night.

These have near-universally excellent reviews and I am leaving towards them:

I'm concerned with beam quality over everything else, I don't particularly care how they look. And I don't want blue-tinted HID lights or anything like that. Just warm, bright, well focused lights.

While not an Superduty I just went through this on my Town Car with EBay Headlights and it made all the difference in the world for my car.

Before (I was cleaning a dirt dobber nest behind the drivers side headlight.)

And After

And I can see Clearly Now...at night. Lol

This was about a month ago and the headlights are holding up great! But, you can feel that the quality isn't quite OEM, but they are much better than the 17 year old headlights they replaced.

Thanks!

You can do that (and I have done it) but it does not last very long. Re-polished headlights tarnish again very quickly. It's only a temporary measure. For this weekend I will likely use some plasti-shine to get them going again for a few weeks.

The permanent solution is a new set of light housings.

I just replaced the ones on my 2000 Excursion with some off ebay. I bought the whole assembly with the lower light assembly as well. Have not drove at night so don't know how well the work. Getting ready to order another pair for my 99 Ford F-250.

They can't be any worse then the cloudy lens that are on it. I do like the clear lens, gives it an update look as well.

Forgot to add mine came with new warm white bulbs as well as the xenon bright white bulbs.

If you have a 2000 - do you still have the factory fluted lens assemblies?

I needed to replace my 1999 ones and went with the clear lens version for 2002-2004. I searched and found that the TYC brand had good reviews on the various diesel forums so I found some on RockAuto.com - they were about $26 each side and came with lamps. Had them about a year now and I have been happy with them.

I have bought from them with out any issues three times. Seem to have a good product. I bought off of E-Bay left and right free shipping.
