2003 Bigfoot TC entry door gone catywompus / askew. Fix?

After 19 years my camper is hanging on by a thread.

I’m having an awful time with the entry door. It’s gotten increasingly worse over the last year
and now I have to TIE it closed so the door won’t pop open as I’m driving down the highway.

Does anyone know if I might be able to adjust the door hinges or any other tips in order to get it to open and close as designed? I currently have to SLAM the door shut with all my might just to get it to seat so the door can be locked.

Any and all tips and tricks appreciated. Thank you.

Wow. That’s interesting. Will try tomorrow. Yes.- I use a bungee to hold it open & weather/wind play havoc on the door overall. Thank you.

I can see in pic of inside door that the inner fiberglass skin is out of the door frame and that is what is causing your binding. Use a thin blade putty knife to work that skin back into the frame. I had that same thing happen on a 2002 BF camper. It was caused from using bungy on lower part of door to hold door open against the upper door stop on back of camper. This twists the door and pulls the inner fiberglass door skin out of the frame.

Will look at it tomorrow but not sure that will solve issue. The door is hanging at an angle wherein ( from the outside ) it’s tilted downward and not closing properly at the bottom left / door base. Thusly- at the top right there is a substantial gap between the door & frame. Will try to upload more photos. Thank you for the suggestion. Will investigate. CWT.
