2020 Silverado 1500 Duramax and the Ike

The Silverado did extremely well with the exception of brake applications compared to the Ram Ecodiesel. Just a reminder that the Chevy has a exhaust brake and the Ram doesn't.

Seems possible to have gone down a couple of gears and this is what most drivers would do for sure. Test don't show everything.

Yes this was supposed to be the Super Ike which means they tow the max rating of the truck. I don't know the specs but it sounds like the Ram Eco Diesel has a higher tow rating than the Chevy Duramax.

I think when they tested the EcoDiesel, it was towing significantly more weight.

Don't know why they can't keep the weights the same to make a more accurate comparison.

In any case, that I6 Duramax seems like it performs very well. Time will tell if it was an engineering success or failure.
