A/C issues

I have a 99' Fleetwood Wilderness with a single rooftop a/c unit. I just purchased this camper 2 weeks ago (as-is). It's in great shape and we are very happy with it. To my question and troubleshooting. My heater works great with floor vents. My a/c will turn on when I set the thermostat to a temp several degrees lower than the inside temp. It turns on immediately and begins blowing cool air. After about 10 mins, the air stops blowing, but you can still hear the rooftop unit running and the temperature inside has not changed. Any idea on what the issue could be or where to start troubleshooting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running it on auto a/c. When I pull the vent and filter off, there are several wires up in there, but they are not touching anything. The vents blow fine when it blows, but only works for 5-10 mins. It's like the fan motor just stops, but the compressor is still running. A coworker mentioned the capacitors on the motor or the motor itself. And fyi, the outside temp was 84, inside 86, and I set thermastate to 78.

The first thing I would look at is the baffle or divider that is above the interior grill. It divides the intake air from the cool side. The baffle in mine was out of place and all the tape was falling off. I would also remove the vents and look at the seal tape. If it has loosened and pulled away, the cool air will be leaking into the roof cavity rather than all of it being forced into the living area.

When you check the inside coil, make sure nothing is dangling that should be attached to those coils.

When this happens, take the inside grate off and look. I suspect your iceing up. Lack of air flow across the coils can cause this. Are you running hi or low fan?
