Arrgghh!
I park my TV next to the house and some branches from a bush touch the hood. I went out today and when I opened the right front door, I was surprised to find hundreds of ants setting up house inside the upper door sealer and under my hood by the cowl panel on both sides. I take care to spray around my fiver to keep critters out, didn't even think about the TV.
I removed the door sealer and cleaned out the eggs they planted inside the hollow part. Uck!
I sprayed the contaminated area with a"natural" ant killer, including under the hood and cowl area. I came back later and washed the area down with water making sure I saturated the inner panel areas.
Looks like I better cut back the bushes!

Never happen with my TV as long as I'm alive....

Me neither.......that is until I went to Florida. 😞

better check the motor area out and I would use the strongest chemical I could find to fight them.

for some reason they are drawn to electrical control boxes,

vehicles and home AC units.

Boy I hear ya! I spent hours sprinkling sevin around my whole RV, special attention to the water hose and electrical cord, etc., etc., to protect it from ants.

I left for lunch and came back and the whole cabover was filled with ants!! Looked outside and I had left the awning rod leaning up against the RV and there they all were running up the the rod and up the RV into the window in thru the weep holes. :R

Geeze You just can't allow anything to touch your RV and the ground with those darn ants. Looks like you've got your work cut out trimming the tree branches! :B

We moved from CT to VA in 04, I have never had such problems with critters before. Most be the different climate or something. Ants especially, in the house in the garage I finally gave up this year and called terminex. I was monkeying in the garage one night and I noticed the neighbor was spraying around their boat parked on the asphalt and was intrigued. I went over and asked, why are you spraying around on the pavement. Ants, he was telling me about last year when he discovered it they had a nest up in the boat and were all over. I guess they go in search of water. Who would have thought ants in a boat.
If it has a hitch, I can tow it
