Hey all...

We recently got a 2007 AF27T trailer...

There is a standard wall switch on the side of the lower cabinet, to your right as you're standing at the sink...

Can anyone tell me what it is for..??..

I can not find anything that it operates...

Thanks...

The white switch in the picture is the one that I can't find what it does...

It is not the 110v water heater switch, as I know where that is...

anyone have a 2007ish AF-27T..??..

Thanks...

Could it be for the electric element on your hot water tank? Usually they put these switches near the sink.

Those switches always have a little red fault indicator light next to them too. If there's no light, then the switch is something else.
Not always. I had a 2001 that just had a srandard wall switch for the WH electric... It had a sticker label on it, but that could easily come off.

OOOPS, I didn't fully read the earlier post, which said "electric" element for water heater.

The AC switch (for electric element) is always just a normal house style switch with no light on it.

I believe the 110v water heater switch is the one on the wall behind & to the right of the sink...

On our 27F, that switch is the electric hot water heater, and there is no light associated with switch which makes it easy to burn out the heater element if the water tank is empty and the switch is turned on. I have experience with this problem.

Me too - the dealer burned up my water heater element prior to me taking delivery of the camper.

I replaced the toggle style switch with a "Decora" style rocker switch and added a doo-hickey to it to prevent the switch from getting bumped and accidentally turned on.

Not on any Northwoods product I've ever seen, they just use standard switches. Something I have changed on both Northwoods we've owned.

Which is part of why I replaced that switch, on both the 24-5N and 29-5E with one that is illuminated when on.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

Turn off propane switch to water heater

Run hot water until it turns warm (below 110*F)

Turn that switch on......wait 30 minutes and check if you have hot water
(that is if any other on/off switch for electric on water heater is also ON----Suburban has one in outside compartment lower left corner which I take is your brand of water heater?)
Is it time for your medication or mine?

We have a switch on ours we could not figure out. The salesman did not know either. We finally discovered it controlled the LED lights under the awning, which you cannot see when retracted.
