Thanks for sharing another fun trip with! Great report as always!

Years ago I bought a 1937 Chevy pickup in pieces from Wallace and hauled it home to make a street rod. Fun trip and the area is really beautiful! I'll be back now for the beer! 🙂

Oh, and happy belated birthday! 🙂

Great TR!!!!!

Brought back some memories. I was born in Coeur d' Alene. My best friend was a Wallace City Cop. His duty every Sunday morning was to pound the nails back in on the main street bridge from Sat nite traffic. Also had to collect the "city's share" from the cat houses!!!!

Some locals talked about the ATV gathering. There are lots of events at that town.
Yeah...we were at the Wallace Rv park.
We also met and chatted for a while with Betty....big Betty to her close friends. She was one of the first female miners in that region.
A great weekend for sure.

Wallace is an interesting town. My wife and I went there from MT for the melodrama once. It was a fun time. We use to drive through there on our way from Seattle (when we lived there) to Kalispell, MT where my folks lived in our house there. We would go over to help out the folks. We always wanted to stop there and finally did. I also got a speedy ticket there from one of IDs finest on the interstate going back to Seattle.

If you are into ATVs at all the have a week long jamboree there and you can ride you atv in town. You have to get a state permit if out of state or if you have a licensed atv from another state. They have trail rides all week long, this is something I always wanted to do but we left that country before I had a chance to do it. Looks like you where staying at the Wallace RV Campground. If we had made it over there for the jamboree that is where we were planing on staying.

Great trip report
