Bumper mount grill

Hello,
I am new to the forum but I bought a solaire camper with the bumper mount grill. When I went on first camping trip I discovered the grill does not attach to the swing arm. Can anyone tell me what grill comes with the solaire camper, so I can get one that works?

Thanks

I personally like the Aussie grill. It's nothing fancy, but gets the job done. I'm not a "chef" by any means, if it's not burnt to a crisp, or raw to the point of poisoning somebody - I call it good!

I pick up my new TT next Saturday. It has the bumper mounted grill.Looks like the pic in "this picture". The link Farm Camp put up. How do you like it? I also have a COLEMAN ROAD TRIP grill. Wondering if I should bring it for a back up?

You did not state if this was a new or used trailer. If new, the dealer should correct this, otherwise go to Aussie Grills website for replacement parts.

I personally hate having the grill that close. Too much of a chance for disaster and smoke and grease to make the back of side if the camper a mess. Small grill off to the side works for me

The one I have looks just like what 'Farm Camp' posted. The l shaped bracket clips in to the vertical plate and then the feet of the grill tuck into the mount.

I wasn't able to find one for sale online. I'd call Aussie and they should be able to help you. Like I said before, if it's new, it should've been in the box. You have to put it together, but the parts should've been there. They should send you one free.

The bracket for my Aussie grill looks something like this picture I found on another page.

The feet fold back on the grill, and then it fits in the bracket and is secured by clips that are tightened down with wing nuts. The whole thing then just hangs on the swing arm that folds out from the bumper.

Mine is also an Aussie grill, maybe I don't have the wrong grill but am missing the mount. Do you or anyone have a picture of the mount and maybe I can find one to order?

Thanks
Rich

Ours has a bumper mount Aussie Grill with the same vertical plate set up. There is an L shaped mount that clips on to that vertical plate and the grill sits in that mount. The mount should've come with the grill.

I always hated having my grill works so close to the trailer. We have the stand alone COLEMAN ROAD TRIP which is a few feet away the trailer walls... We usually setup just under the awning at a rigth angle to the trailer... Our COLMAN uses the 1LB Propane Canisters.

It is a swing arm but has a vertical flat plate

If your grill and swing arm is like mine, the grill does not actually attach but just hangs on the top. I think they are all pretty much the same.
