Curious if anyone has tried this? Looks like it would be interesting, if it is accurate. Mixed reviews on Amazon.

So, assuming this is marketed at happy homeowners who tow a trailer, how often would you actually use it? Do you guys weigh your setup before every trip to see if the wife snuck in too many cans of beans and put you over payload?
Seems like 1 and done unless you’re overly ocd or change trailers.

I keep track of the weight using DOT weigh stations.
And they are free. 😉

In Utah, maybe.
Several states have free scales, but not mine (PA).
IF I had access to free Scales, I probably would not have considered getting the HaulGuage (now CURT BetterWeigh).
My closet CAT Scale is about 19 miles away (pun not intended).

That's why you buy at Amazon. Thirty days to try and when it turns out to be a bust, a full refund is given. No cost to return except a little time.

Not everything is free to return.

The item being discussed does have free returns.

When buying you would decide if you want to buy something or not based on the return policy.

I agree. Being a Prime Member is part of the equation also.

It works. I've not noted gross differences from the CAT Scales.
It's ballpark anyways with a analog scale, no digital readout.
I guess the new Ford taillight load measuring indicators are voodoo, too.
$100. We piss away that and more on a lot of stuff on our RVs and trucks.

I have spent money on dumb things, but even I know when it’s just too dumb to even entertain. This is one of them, shook my head as I read it.

Amazing, people will part with $100 for no good reason.

Like button!

This is meant for the contingent (as we see every day on this forum) who do not understand vehicles and towing and don't have the background or mechanical aptitude to really understand it anyway.
For them I think it could be a good crutch, however these are also generally the same folks who are only towing "their" trailer and things are relatively static and don't change. Therefore, this will just drive them further into the minutia.
I mean how much "help" could one possible need adjusting their trailers brake gain (which is not foolproof with this little chochkie, or tchotchke either)?
I'm sure they'll sell a million of 'em!

It's just another means to circumvent folks having to be competent at the tasks they undertake...
