Day one we left after work and traveled 200 miles stopping in Daytona. Today we set out about 8:30am and drove 425 miles to Charlotte NC arriving at 6:15. We stopped to help a father/son who had a blowout on their 4 axle car hauler. Loaned them some planks and a second Jack and another pair of hands. DW made lunch and cold drinks. About a one hour delay. It turns out they live just a short distance from us and we plan on hooking up for lunch over the summer. DW and I have a firm commitment to helping people who are stuck. Always pay it forward. :C
While DW was driving she said it felt sloppy and loose to her. I paid attention and could feel it too. While we were stopped to help father/son I took the opportunity to take up another link and another half turn on the anti sway. Much better!!! I'm loaded a little heavier than is usual for us. 7 weeks worth. :R
We plan on spending the weekend here. Lovely night, good food, great company! :B
