Derringers

It seems my spring loaded turnbuckles are never just right and are a nuisance to adjust. Has anybody added the 'Derringers' that convert them to Fastguns? If so, are they worth the cost?
Thanks

I have a set of the torklift derringer anchorgard turnbuckles. I've never used them (I have the fastguns also) but did try them on the TC. They work just like the fastguns, once you adjust them all you have to do is pull the handle to remove.

So, yes, I think they will save you a lot of adjusting and are worth the money since you already have the spring mounts.

I came up a bit shot on the rear as well. I use the front HJ mid bed height mount but I built my rear mounts with square tubing welded to the receiver sides and outboard mounts pinned into them (like the TL mounts) so I came up short on the rear and did like you did with all thread.

The HJ cam lock mounts are substantially less costly than the TL cam locks and work the same and look almost the same. I'm into less expense as long as they work and they do, just fine.

Not to start a debate but I use the HappyJac conversions. 99 bucks for 4 units complete. Same deal with removeable handles and locking pins.
