Destination RV's

I am considering trading in my Mobile Suite 5th.whl. for a Jayco Jay Flight Bungalo 40FER destination RV trailer. We need more room and a unit to park and leave set for 3 or 4 yrs.
Does anyone have "goods or bads" to say about these units. They are relatively inexpensive which worries me but looking at them they seem to be ok.
There are other brands of this type but the Jayco is by far the better quality with a better color scheme. Some of them look like a brothel inside.
Replies would be appreciated.

Where I'm at they are not allowed. I have seen them in a lot of winter (southern) RV parks.

The place we seasonal at is the same way - nothing with a pitched roof like a Breckenridge.

Pulled the trigger today. Purchased a 2012 Jayco Jay Flite 40FER Bungalow at Blade RV in Mt. Vernon, Wash. They are a great bunch to deal with.
We are spending our 1st night in it as I type. So far we love it. Lots of room, tows excellent although I was initially concerned. I just have to swing a little wider on the corners. My wifes favorite feature is the new stacked washer/dryer and a residential frig.
After our trip to Arizona this week I will know much more about it.

The park we are in allows these type units but not mobile homes. Nothing w/o wheels unless they are true park models. I like this being on wheels so that if the park management changes the rules..AGAIN.. I can hook up and be gone in an hour.
This is a seasonal lot but we lease it by the year. We are just looking for more room at a reasonable price. Resale is not that important. I can stand a little bit of a hit when that time comes.
Thx. for the replies.

They are not near the quality of your Mobil Suite. They have poor resale as well. I will put one on my seasonal lot because they are cheep and you do get a lot of room for not a lot of money. The RV park does not allow mobile homes, (tax reasons).

Have you checked on a 12 wide yet… you will get more room and a loft area to boot… that is what I would be getting….

Have you compared them to a single wide mobile home? I was just curious as to how they would compare. Is one built better than another???
