Diesel oil sale Autozone.

Autozone is running a sale on certain brands of Diesel oil in the gallon jug. I cleaned out 3 Autozones in the PA/MD (Hagerstown) area and scored 15 gallons.

Mobil 1, Mobil Delvac and Valvoline Diesel are $12.99 a gallon. A nice savings over the $29.99 they normally charge for the Mobil 1 diesel synthetic. I think the sale ends Dec 24th.

Just thought I would share.

I have not shopped at Auto Zone since I stopped in to get a sealed beam fog light bulb for the motorhome.
The counterman looked at it, asked what it fit. When I told him it came out of a motorhome he said "I don't have parts for one of those things!" He didn't even look at the identification on the back of the old bulb!
I figured that if Auto Zone doesn't train their people to find a standard part on the shelf without using the computer to look up the application, they don't need my business.

The last time, about 2 months ago, I bought Delvac from O'Reilly's it was $11.99/gallon in a 5-gallon bucket.

Those prices are nothing special for around here. Autozone is usually a bit higher on fluids and parts than O'Reilly's.

I didn't even think about the "Price match" guarantees. Good call.

I went to my local Autozone earlier this week, and they didn't have any Mobil Turbo Diesel Truck oil so I went to Wally World and purchased Rotella T6 for my next oil change.

I'm hearing if you can find any of these oils at a Wally World or another automotive store they will price match AutoZone's sale.
