At the edge of our u shaped dinette is a hard board to keep the cushions from sliding off. Problem is it hits your leg each time you sit down or get up. Does anyone have any suggestions for padding these?

I just removed ours. Haven't had any problems with the cushions sliding.

Had a similar issue. I dismantled the cabinetry, cut it down shorter, and reassembled. Any kind of attempted cushioning will make it higher.

I bought a 2" rubber mat, cut in two and put one under each cushion and no more problem!
Measure the width & length and buy one rubber pad. Then cut in half.

Get rid of it and put Velcro under the cushion to hold it in place.
