Do you shower in your camper

We have camped in our 23b for 12 years and have rarely used the shower for fear of filling the grey water tank. My question is do you use the shower. My next question is how much water do you think you use. I don't mind toting fresh water but I hate to overfill my tank.

In 15 years of rving, I think we have used a public shower 2X and that was in the winter when it was so cold we could not de-winterize for a couple of days while on our way to Texas..

Wet yourself down, turn off the water - lather up, turn water on and rinse. Doesn't use much water or capacity in the grey tank.

A decent shower is always a priority in what rv we purchase. There are only 2 of us - for a family it would be more difficult unless you had water and sewer hookups.

Since this is Hybrid trailers, I'll take a great leap of faith and assume you're asking about them.

Sometimes depending where, will use a 5 gal bucket drain shower water into it ,then dump in toilet. Black tank always has room. Usually just dump grey water at CG,as needed. An extra trip to dump station ,no big deal ,fast and easy to dump grey.

Seven gallons per shower. I was curious so measured it. I find it odd folks are afraid to use the things that were made to be used. Gray water can run off into the grass most of the time. Why not use it?

When connected to sewer all the time. When on tanks will use outside shower/lake or if not busy, campground showers all to avoid having to dump the grey tank.

We do most of our camping these days in Oregon State Parks which have nice showers ... as such I haven't used our shower in years and it makes a great storage compartment.

My guess is around 5 gals per shower. Our 40 gal grey tank for the lav last s 2 days for family of 4. We have a second 40 gal grey tank for the galley sink.
