You have my props... getting that tent enclosure on your caravan in minus 30 degree (centigrate) weather is definitely not easy, especially having to shovel the snow from underneath to firmly tie it down.

We got plenty of trailers with double wheel axles in EU, the biggest different is that the axles in EU are placed centered under the trailer to get less tongue weight because we often got smaller TV as somebody mentioned earlier.

I think that Northwood's quality seems good as for example KABE. KABE is also built for four seasons use and we use our all year around. Last winter when we camped up in the northern parts of Sweden the temperature drops below -25F and we still got warm and cosy inside and around 77F.

I think Jayco is closest to our EU trailers regarding the interior and now the exterior if the Concept should go live. Very strict and clean interior style.
I think the biggest differences between a US trailer and a EU trailer is the weight, the EU version is much lighter mostly gained by using different material.

Same thing struck me- in my opinion some of the most important differences are below-the-floor. If the trailer turns out to have something like the really nifty Al-Ko stability system that's gaining use over there- THEN I'll be impressed!

Guess we'll have to wait and see- I can't find anything else on the 'net about this trailer, either.

Euro rigs tend to be built to a higher quality standard, and have a distinct look, but they generally don't have slide-outs and tend to be smaller so they might be cramped compared to an American rig.

They also tend to have cassette toilets over black tanks, which make sense across the pond as CGs tend to be more primitive and less of a resort style.

This pic is from Louisville show. I think this is the one with the remote trailer moving mechanism. There are a couple of motors that allow you to move the trailer around with no TV.

Most likely, the "look", --- tend to be smaller, not as high sitting(may support the use of smaller tow vehicles, better MPG -measured in Kilometers:W), different, more modern looking interiors, better use of small spaces, etc....

Since this Jayco, labeled CONCEPT, I'm guessing most likely not any info/specs on the trailer.

Jayco has a divisions in other countries, may be using what is done there as platform or type.

I saw his Facebook post on it, and I like the concept. Since the Euros are using smaller TVs, I think this is the way to go. Of course, I am a little biased on the smaller TV part of it.
