Just traded my 07 F150 for a 2016 F250 crew cab with a 6.2L gas. My first 3/4 ton PU. Haven't towed with it yet, but the F250 feels like a lot more truck to me.
12,500 lb tow 3200 lb payload
F150 was a good truck for sure, but always felt a little light when towing our 27' bunkhouse at 6800 lbs.
Towing report coming in near future !
2016 Jayco Jay Flight 27BHS 6210 empty, 8200 GVW 2016 F250 CC 6.2L(gas) 3:73 diff (3157lb. payload)
Congrats on the new to you F250! The 6.2 is a great engine, that pulls strong, and is smooth running, even at high rpm. You will really like the 6-speed transmission, with double overdrive, and lockout capability. I lockout 6th, when towing.
