Would a fire suppression system added to the engine compartment of a diesel pusher be of any use. ??

No doubt one would be handy. Over your stove would be the better place I would think.

If you had a fire, might be useful.

I don't think it is something I would do. Just spend the money on insurance. If you're going to have an RV fire, the engine bay of a pusher is probably the least likely to kill you.

We were stuck in traffic for about 2 hours in northern AZ, after this tour bus had an engine bay fire. Everyone got out safely.

Although my rig was a diesel pick up and fifth wheel, I wished I'd had a fire suppression system. A diesel leak in August and it all went up in flames.

I'm sure a fire suppression system in the engine would have made our insurance company happy.
