Ford F250 Tire Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my stock 265/70r18 michelins for a larger tire it not to compromise load rating and handling when pulling the 9500lb or so TT. I'm looking at Nitto terra grappler 295/65r20 which has a load rating of about 4k. Anybody run this set up for a beefier look but not compromising pulling?

Thanks everyone. It's a 6.7 and 3.55 gears. I did plan on a 2" lift to help out.

I run 245/70R19.5's on my 250 which makes them as tall the 275/70R18's I replaced at 33". As others have said, taller tires will require a lift to clear the front wells. My diesel has no problems with 33" tires and almost 12,000 lbs over the higher passes, but we don't know your engine or gearing to help you further.

That is about an 8% increase in rolling circumference, which is a lot. If you have a gasser and tow 9500, you will definitely notice it. If you have a diesel, particularly a 6.7, not so much. You will probably need a 2" minimum lift to fit them on the front. 295-65/R20 is a 35" tire.

I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2008 Dmax.
285/55R20 load E mounted on XD Monster 20x9 rims.
Love them. handle well and very low road noise for the way they look.
have about 15000 miles on them. They seem to be holding up very well.

The 2013 F250's that have 20" wheels use 275/65R20. Using 295 height tire seems a bit much IMHO.

Going from 18" to 20" wheels is a big jump and you are going to seriously raise the gear ratio which is going to affect the towing and possibly overwork the engine torque-wise, especially if it's a gasser. I would consult a Ford dealer before I put that much stress on a truck just for show.
