The sad thing is, the people who stole the trailer could care less about the stress and discomfort they created.
You fret and worry while they just go about their business.
Probably not much of a life for the young boy though.

Good luck to you! I understand why you posted the way you did. Think I would have done the same. Did make us work to follow tho. Also felt sorry for the boy, what a life. We had our home broken into and it took a long time to be comfortable.
Did you buy a different TT?

How about posting an update then?
Lots of people wishing you well here.
It has been a while since the news of "it's been found."
Check the new topic regarding the update of our TT ๐
Here's the link to her other thread.
I think you are doing the right thing. That stolen trailer would never feel comfortable and would always have the memories of being violated by the thief.
I hope you enjoy your new camper and enjoy it for many years.

To the original OP - I am glad that things worked out for you. I know many are not so lucky!
I am not sure why individuals cannot just acknowledge your good news and leave it at that!

I thought I'd quote the OP here so that this thread will make sense when the OP deletes the original text in their first post. It looks like the OP doesn't intend on returning with an update, but I have a feeling the OP will delete the original text since they have gotten what they needed.

Believe it or not -- our 2014 Coachmen Freedom Express Liberty Edition travel trailer, model number 305RKDS, which we bought last December 2013, was stolen sometimes between Monday evening (November 10) and early Tuesday morning (November 11) at the truck parking, where my husband works, in Olathe, KS. We had a FEMA travel trailer parked there for three years with no problem. We used a hitch ball lock, but that obviously didn't deter the thief/thieves. We are so devastated, especially me, as our personal belongings are in the trailer. They cannot be replaced ๐
We have already notified the police, KS/MO state parks and campgrounds, our bank, Craiglist, etc. I would appreciate it greatly if all of you would please spread the word about this through any network you may have. The more the people know the better.
Please contact my husband Mark at 913-709-5724 or the Olathe police department at 913-971-7500 if you see our TT.
