Getting keys made.

My Sunset Trail Travel Trailer key got lost and I found one spare. Now I want to get another set made but my local Walmart girl could not find a match. The key to the trailer door is a short key unlike the normal sized keys and the key to the boot is a little chrome gizzy. Someone told me the boot keys are all alike.

Where would be a good place to get an extra set of keys made? It could have been my Walmart key expert was lacking in expertise.

I had a set made at the local ACE hardware.

Some keys are numbered so the RV dealer may help there.

You can open my pass through with any key you can stick in the key hole.

I ordered mine online. See if there is a code number stamped on your current key. Can be used as a reference.

Spade, you may have to make a run over to Batesville to a Locksmith to make some door keys.

Just a suggestion but my door & the dead bolt are a different cut. The lock smith cut each side of the key to match one of the locks. Now one key opens both locks.

Go to a locksmith- one with a storefront. No problem!

This is what we did....even were able to get different colors...one for the front door and a different one for the back door.

I agree on a real locksmith. Had no luck at Lowes, Home Depot, or even True Value Hardware. Went to locksmith and now have 4 complete sets.

Find a real locksmith. Lowes etc will not have them.

If there are numbers on them, you can probably find them on Ebay cheaper than you can get them copied.

I went to a local lock smith and he made me four new keys. It cost a little more but they all work great.
