I have a Puma 38PFSKB and my bathroom door closes by itself. With the type of hinge on this door I am not sure how to correct it. Any advice?

I created my own ghost: Bathroom door always stayed where you left it. It got squeaky, I hit it with lube, after two years it still closes by itself.

Camper is settling and now out of level causing the door to swing shut on it's own.

I use the bathroom door as my final leveling adjustment when setting up. If it stays where I put it, it's level.

Trailers aren't built very plumb or square. I had to do surgery on both my doors to get them to work right.

Well then SOMETHING has changed.
Most likely your "foundation" has shifted a bit.
IF....there is no spring tension on the door (in the hinges), that's about all it can be.

I'm a bit reluctant to mention this.......but if it has traditional hinge pins like a house door, you can take out one of those pins and put a little bend in it with a hammer and then it will stay where you leave it, open, closed or half way in between.

Get a carpenter's level and check the door at the bathroom front to back and side to side. I bet the trailer has settled some. And now it's not level.

I suppose that is better than the door opening by itself. ๐Ÿ™‚

Is your trailer level front to back and side to side?
