GPL Folding Ladder

From some previous posts here, and other sites this ladder has received some good reviews due to how compact it stores (3.5"x4.5"x87" for 7'), and is fairly sturdy considering how compact it does store.

Anyone currently on the forum have one? How do you like it? My crazy thought is to mount an extra 5" vinyl fence post sleeve (sewer hose storage mod) on the bumper and have the bottom one for ladder storage, top one for the sewer hose.

Also, (mods edit if not allowed) I found a place to order them from that gives a price break at 5 or more. Not sure what the volume price is yet as I haven't emailed, but if there is anyone in the Flint, Mi area that would like to go in on an order please pm me. We have 3 so far towards the 5. Place I found them they are about $129/ free shipping.

TY!

I personally like the other ladder and used it this spring to was windows open n the house. Much lighter weight and easier to use!!

If that is the case I would suggest keeping it compared to lugging the heavier ladder around.

I have a 7' ordered from ATG, received 10% off, but was charged tax because they are a Lowes Co.! So total was just over $122/shipped.

Now to mount another fence post sleeve for the ladder.

TY again for the feedback on the ladder!

Found my 7' version on craigslist local to me. Got him down to $85. The $125 price is a pretty good deal IMO.

Mine will be stored in front pass through, or a fence post. Not decided which yet.

Summerhouse,

TY for the offer! Think I am a little to far being in the Flint area.

What was the reason you switched to the telescoping ladder over the GPL?

Where are you at in Michigan? Flint area? We have a GPL 6 ft ladder we bought from Camping World that we are going to put in a yard sale next weekend for $60.
Let me know if you are interested and perhaps we can hook up! DH replaced ours with a telescoping ladder instead. I'll be in Grand Rapids tomorrow.

Yep, I have one, a double sided 7 foot. It is very sturdy, easy to carry/store.

I would recommend it. If $129 for the 7', that is a great price!

REGULAR price at Linen n Things and others...:S

GPL 7' ladder

Lowes has em even cheaper.

ATG stores too..free shipping on all.

ATG is actually where I found it for that price. Just noticed a sign up for email and save 10% from them also! Time to see if it is good for the ladder too.

Glad to hear good feedback from fellow members here on it!

TY!

Had mine for two years. Very stout, well built ladder. There is a locking lever at the base of each leg. When locked it is very stable. Stores neatly in my pass through. Easy to set up and fold back up. Light weight yet tall enough to inspect roof and clean slides. Worth the money IMHO.

Safe travels.

Looks kind of handy, if it's sturdy enough to get toward the top.
