I have a friend's husband tell me about a product that he uses on his levelers that doesn't attract dirt. I thought it was called grease lightning but perhaps I confused it with the movie Grease. 🙂 Anyone hear of a product like this. They are enjoying a cruise at the moment or I would ask him!

FYI, Boeshield is NOT a lubricant, it is a corrosion inhibitor. I routinely use it on my machinery. But it is no more a lubricant then WD-40 is (which stands for Water Displacement formula 40).

The White-Lightening chain grease appears to me to be a possibility. It's a similar environment to the the gearing on a stabilizer.

Personally I use spray teflon lub.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

I"m a bit more "old school". When I need a dry film lubricant I go directly to the source and use flake dry graphite after cleaning the item to be lubricated.

The only "grease lightning" that I can remember is a grease cleaning spray. It actually is a good decreaser. I can't imagine a liquid type lubricant not attracting dirty and debri. If you have found something that doesn't I think we would all benefit.

Greased Lightning is a product available.....however, it is a powerful cleaning solution that would never be used as a conventional lubricant. It is much like Simple Green. But in my opinion, it is no where near as good.
