Last week on Thursday we were just pulling off I-94 in northern Illinois on our way to Illinois Beach SP when I heard a clunk and then grinding from the drivetrain of my 2011 Ram 2500 CTD. I limp into the campground and get the TT parked and call Gurnee Dodge in Gurnee Illinois and was told to drop the truck off.
I get there and their service writer Ray Sovsky told me they wouldn't be able to look at my truck until morning and got me a rental car right away because they were about to close for the night. The next day he called me at about 10:15 am and told me my truck was done and that the rear driveshaft center bearing failed and had been replaced. And best yet it was covered under my factory power train warranty so it cost us nothing but the cost of the rental car. He also said that they completed a recall item that I hadn't gotten to yet.
Gurnee Dodge saved our trip because DS had a campus tour scheduled at the University of Chicago at 8:30 Friday morning that we were able to get to because Ray got us a rental before they closed.
I would recommend Gurnee Dodge to anyone who needs their TV serviced when in the area.
