Happijac tie down question

I recently bought a 2016 F250 and need to install the Happijac tie downs on the new truck. I installed the Happijac on my old 2000 F250 with no problems. The difference I'm seeing with the 2000 and 2016 is the 2016's rear wall on the bed is ribbed where the 2000 was flat. On the 2000 the plate on the inside of the bed rested flat on the bed wall where as the plate on the 2016 will rest on the ribs; the 4 holes on the plate line up with the rib valley and not the top of the rib. Questions: will the four bolts be long enough to screw into plate in front of the bed? Will the tie down not be secure because it's not flush on the bed? I hope this makes sense. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happijac shows same kit 97-16 but what your describing sounds like sandwiched plates might 'crush' sheet metal ribs if bolts not thru contact surfaces. Spacers?

Yes, I'm afraid of crushing the metal ribs. The kit comes with spacers to be used with other truck models; I'll try to use them to disperse the pressure off the top of the ribs.
