One of the best roof treatments for all types of RV roofs, especially metal. Just like the oven mitts, it's 100% silicone and 100% waterproof. Provides protection from heat, water intrusion, UV degradation and possibly hail damage as well. 🙂

This is very good stuff.
I used it on my house tar & gravel roof that was dripping and 2 winters proved the stuff, so this summer I put it on my rubber roof on TC.
No caulk would stick well to rubber roof and I tried everything I could buy, while the Henry's stick to everything, although it is soft coating.
The stuff is self-leveling to some degree, what is nice on flats, but I also painted front cap and you have to be very careful on vertical.
Stuff dries shiny, so camper looks good. Will observe how it holds with time.

Any pics of TC roof?

I used this product on the roof of my house in Baja which is plain plywood and it seals like it was shingled. Many use it down there for that purpose.

I also put it on top of my TC's TPO roof. No more constantly applying Dicor. Looks great and it has been 2 years now.

You better get her done right the first time. You ever try to remove silicone caulking? Is there anything that will stick to silicone, even silicone itself?

I'm thinking that because you can apply multiple coats of the stuff after each coat has dried, that it will stick to itself 🙂

You're prob right. I thought it was up to a certain point after application, past that no go.

You could be right .... I'm not an expert. The instructions say to wait at least 4 hours before putting on additional coats but no info on a time limit to add a coat.

That stuff is nothing like silicone caulking.
I did my house roof over a year ago, but coated flat spot only. This year after seeing how well it holds, I "painted" the edges for cosmetic reason. Hold like single coat. The only complain is that it discolors easy when applied over black stuff.
I did not worry about it on my house with tar, but my camper had some black mess from eternabond, who showed as yellow spots.
The best part, since you make mono coating on everything, any cracks that might happen in the future is very easy to spot.
In the past took me 2 months to figure out how I had rain water on countertop. The coulk at aluminium railing look good to bare eye, but was loose at the bracket.

Metal roofs do get hot..Boy howdy,do they..Mine is a one piece metal roof and I have always used Snow Roof on all my campers with a metal roof..This year I used Mobile Coat instead..Same concept but available locally..And a dramatic drop in temps inside with three coats on top.

Silicone as you know is a hot topic also..(Laughing)..I am one who sticks up for it and uses it when needed,if needed..I carry a tube of Gorilla silicone in my TC for those emergencies that pop up..Ready for rain in 30 minutes..The bending/twisting that a TC goes through on mountain roads sometimes produces leaks/cracks that were never there before and need to be addressed right now in bad weather.

Congrats on the new Kool roof.. Nice video..
