Very happy with it. I was able to tow my wife around in the Jeep when I first set it up so she could report back that indeed the foot brake was being pulled towards the floor. You can't precisely measure how much it contributes to the overall braking as it's reacting to the piston in the surge unit, so it's a "feels good to me" science.
2 holes penetrate the firewall and 1 clamp (I believe it's the emergency break-away) can secure both cables higher up on the pedal.
I can have Kellie take a couple pictures and post them to the Host Mammoth FB page or post them here. I do have the emergency break-away connection tucked back as far out of view as possible. There are reports of schmucks pulling that cable and locking up your brakes while parked.

I can only respond to the braking system. I bought the Ready Brute with surge.

No aux brakes needed unless you really want them, and at that, if you felt the need for a surge system on the toad, you may consider a compression brake for your truck vs the aux braking in the jeep. Pac Brake load leash.

Just remember. JEEP - Just, Empty, Every, Pocket.;) Just kidding. We almost bought a new one this summer, but really didnโt want a third vehicle so we are going to rent a vehicle if we feel the need.
