Wow, the best **** tires I have ever had that came OEM on a new vehicle which finally need replacing after about 40K in 3 years. This one is gonna hurt. Free shipping indeed LOL.

Too many geezers, self appointed moderators, experts, and disappearing posts for me. Enjoy. How many times can the same thing be rehashed over and over?

Im on my 3rd set of Yokohama Geolanders in 245 17 E rated. Got over 60k on both other sets. Great tire for $177 per. $100 more per tire seems out of the park to me.

32,000 and treads were done to 1/16" on my OEM HT's on my 2013 Chevy 2500. Coopers that replaced them were not much better. When I traded the dealer said he would have to replace them before selling, No, I did not allow him to reduce the trade in value because of that.

That's what I'm talking abooot.
Only bought 1 set of "new" tires in about 10 years now. Rest have been takeoffs OE or otherwise off craigslist.
The new set was Amazon, good deal.
CL is getting harder to find tires other than OE takeoffs around here though.

Its **** good mileage for a 4 wheel drive truck driven mostly on two lane secondary roads here in western/central PA, with our mountains and curving roads. I've had plenty of sets of Michelins BTW over the years on personal and company vehicles, that did not make it past 30K, along with Goodyear, Firestone, you pick.

You are aware that tire wear is dependent on things such as asphalt mix designs, concrete finishes on roads, weather conditions, and a whole host of factors which vary by regions, state to state, even county to county?

Anyhow I picked up a set of the Duravis M700's with less than 2K miles which were takeoffs from an 18 Silverado for $100 each, free shipping, on fleabay. That's prorated pretty **** good from the $250 each new price LOL.

The Duravis on my 2005 were close to done at a little less than 40k when I had a large cut in the tread from a road hazard. It was still holding 80psi and my heavy truck camper at the time. I got new ones last year. Yes, they were 12 year old too and never even so much as a leaker in all that time. I ran those things hard loaded to their max with the camper on for some of those miles. They were one OEM tire I wouldn’t call cheap garbage.

If I am understanding this 40k is GOOD mileage??? Last set of Michelins on my DRW made it to 40k and they gave me back $106 per tire pro rated. Personally would never be happy getting only 40k.

RV’s are like boats...break out another thousand.

Except I can’t come up wirth a funny acrostic for RV. Because so many times they are not recreational...especially if you don’t do preventive maintenance. They will ensure that you break down at the most inopportune moment if you don’t maintain them...

OP I’m glad you are doing this now. While no one can guarantee that a break down will not happen, preventive maintenance is a very very good thing and goes a long way to making this hobby actually relaxing.

My 2014 Ram 3500 OEM's were the Firestone Transforce HT's ( 275/70/18 ) , and were done at 30K, and that was pushing them. Terrible tire, they were no different then another set of firestones that came on a new Superduty . Worse tires for wear that I have ever had, next to the Michelins.

You are one of the rare ones that report any decent mileage out of those OEM Firestone Transforce HT's or AT's.

As said I am surprised thats there is no reports on these Sailun Terramax AT's, not sure how long they have been available. They are very reasonable on price . 50K wear warranty. Same tread pattern as the Toyo's, Coopers , etc.
