It is. I dewinterized our TT yesterday. I always enjoy that. It means it's time to start the season. I take our son a few times during the winter, but DW won't go until the plumbing is working again. I always enjoy having her with us.

Let the camping begin.

I have been in an out of mine all winter looking for leaks and mice. So far neither.

I installed the battery and hooked up the shore power today and turned on the gas. So far everything including the slide is working.

I will give the roof a once over but the bath and wax has to wait until the weather is warmer. Where headed for warmer climes first.

Enjoy your travels.

I have a fair bit of work to do and am mostly limited to working after the kids go to bed so extra time is a good thing. Need to get my new hitch setup, give it a deep clean and pull the shelving out if the clause at minimum. would also like to tackle the long dormant furnace if I get the cahonas to not blow my self up.

Yeah, still a bit early here in S Ontario but lucky you nonetheless. :B Here where I am the city bylaw says I can't legally park our trailer on my driveway until May 1, which is way too late. Enforcement is on a complaint basis so since none of my neighbours seem to care I try to get it home in early April so I can begin modding & refitting for our first trip which is typically the last weekend in April. Warm weather can't come soon enough! :B

It's that magical time of year, isn't it? Last season was filled with events and parties, and in October our son got married. This summer, nothing. It's in a shed a quarter mile down the road, which is also surrounded in mud. I've never been so anxious to get the camper out and start a few new projects. For the first time ever, we have two weeks off and no plans. Just point the camper in a direction and GO!

We've been once (last weekend) for a quick "shake-down" at a very close county park. We're going again this weekend and then next week headed for the first longer distance and few days camping trip (Spring break). Temps have been weird around here but at least way above freezing. We're excited about this season.

10 day forecast still shows freezing temps and snow likely, going to hold off 2 more weekends. I really hope it warms up soon, I've got a pretty good project list lined up to get her ready for this summers upcoming travels. MaxAir fan, medicine cabinet for the bathroom, spice rack, wasp guards, sound system upgrade for movies, inboard water filter, tote carrier rack, etc.

I was thinking of bringing The Hilton from it's storage spot to the driveway, close to the garage (<100') but it's now raining and I don't want to take heroic measures to save the lawn. I need to get under the trailer and weld in some supports for my tank insulation project. I guess I could buy 200' of welding leads or bide my time.

Way to react to past experience, Jeb. I remember your thread about pulling the trailer across the field to get it out, last year.

I have been in the TT off and on all winter after work. As soon as its nice I will be on top and under it. We have not spent the night in it but that's not far off. I guess its normal. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ours is parked at home all the time, but decided to open it up and we slept in it last Friday and Saturday night. We got snow on Saturday. AND I burned through an entire 30 pound tank of propane in 2 days! Well, we'll be in it again over Easter weekend. We've got family coming in and need the extra bedroom space. They can have the house ... we get the camper!

I hear ya. really didn't want mine home for another couple weeks but where I keep it tends to get REALLY muddy in April and the weather is rain all week and lots of it. Last year I had to snatch it out of the mud with the tractor or wait until June. Didn't want to do that again.
