Hot Water Heater not working. DSI Light staying on

I have a 2014 Keystone Hideout TT I bought new last year, and checked everything out tonight before using it next weekend.
As soon as I hit the switch for the "gas hot water heater", the DSI light comes on immediately and doesn't even make the clicking noise in attempt to light.
Oddly enough, I can run it on electric perfectly fine.
I have checked fuses, checked breaker, and unplugged and plugged back in wires with no luck.
Any ideas what to check next?
Unfort, I am out of warranty period which expired in march
Thanks

More info will get better responses because the 2 brands work differently and have different circuitry

Suburban OR Atwood.

Atwood trips....most times you can't operate electric heating either due to common set of t-stat

Sounds like a Suburban cause you state you can operate electric OK
IF water has been heated with electric it will have to cool down below 110*F before you can try propane due to set points on t-stats (turn off electric and run hot water until gone).
Suburban has 'Push to Reset' buttons in outside compartment (rubber cover above gas valve) Right side is for propane. High temp t-stat has reset button under that cover. If tripped you can feel it reset when pushed.

If that doesn't work.........post more info
Is it time for your medication or mine?

On an Atwood water heater, DSI stands for Direct Spark Ignition. It's very convenient to be able to turn on the water heater from inside the coach. However, when you get a DSI light, it indicates that there is a fault in the electrical igniter system of the water heater. Follow this video to start troubleshooting:

If the water is already hot on electricity, it will not need to light on propane.
Mine has a little panel with two switches on it... one for electricity and one for propane. Both can be turned on at the same time, and the propane will come on when you use enough hot water.
How is your lighting system configured? Just a switch for electricity on the tank, and a switch to light the propane on the wall?
Light a burner on your stove to insure you have propane flowing.
Check to see if refrigerator will work on propane.
Are you sure you can hear the igniter when it is working?
Just trying to cover some bases, when I can't see your panel, etc... ๐Ÿ™‚
