How to Open Reefer Grille

I have a Norcold refrigerator on my new WC 840 and want to open the exterior plastic grille to inspect the innards. Will be installing some Camco insect screens soon and would like to know how to open it without breaking the fasteners. Plus, enquiring minds need to know what's in there!

Depending on the unit, the condensate pan may need to accumulate a bit of water before it starts draining. With low humidity, that may take a while. One unit I had, older unit, had a "slinger" on the fan that used condensate water to help cool the condenser coil. My current units don't have that.

There's no "method" of water disposal on my current campers. I raise the camper slightly to make the water run off the roof in the direction I prefer. It can be really irritating when it makes a mud hole right at the door.

Rooftop unit? Water just runs onto the roof and drips off usually, not plumbed to the ground. With humidity levels that low, it likely isn't condensing much fron the air, and the moisture that does drain off likely evaporates quickly. ST

Thanks guys, I have a tendency to gorilla things a bit and wanted to be sure before I started twisting.

On another note, I was sitting in the camper this evening to beat the unusual heat wave here in Idaho and was reading with the A/C running (we have no A/C in the house). It got me thinking -- where does the A/C (11.5k unit) drain the moisture it removes? I see no evidence of water anywhere. Is this because our relative humidity here at the moment is about 15 percent? Surely there is a method to the disposal of water...

As BB TX said. Just turn the knobs. I installed the campco screens last year. Seem to work OK.

If they are like mine, you just use a coin (or maybe even your fingers), turn the fasteners 1/4 turn, then pull out on the grill.
