We never had a problem here in West TN with our heat and humidity, but a trip to Vicksburg was a real pain. The difference was the complete lack of shade. If you camp in places with any decent shade, you should be fine - Pop Up Gizmos are a must-have. If no shade, it's tough to get it below 85 in the 100 degree/100% days. Once the sun goes down, our ROO cooled down nicely....until sun up. Completely agree that if you're ordering, invest in the 15K A/C....don't believe it's much more in $$, but a big difference if you're out in the blazing sun. We had the 13.5K and that was out only cooling problem. And the fact that you can camp year-round is really nice...you'll love the fall camping especially.
