So, after having one of these in our last tub shower, this was a must.

bottom channel and mock up of side channel

Left Channel with door attached,

right side

finished

I used a white silicone caulk, and did everything i could to keep the inside caulked. everything was sticky taped in and provided by the manufacturer. the only screw was the stud for the closing of the door. way cool. I plan on caulking the outside later.

$85 bucks. not bad!

We hated the shower curtian in our 1st camper, 2nd we made sure it had a door instead. It was not anything do with mold, DH hated fighting it when showering.

Looks good!

I still have the curtain, but it does not matter because I've never turned on the shower LOL. We camp at provincial parks so we use the shower building, we don't even use our hot water heater. With the shore power, we just boil water with an electric kettle for dishes.

i never got mold on my other one. I always leave the fan on for a bit to clear out any moisture anyway... i don't fasten the door until its dry...

I really miss my accordion door too, but it did tend to get some mold on the bottom groove. I put this door on my wish list, and will see if I can live with the shower curtain. Atleast if it gets cruddy, I can get a new one yearly.

It's a little late to warn you but accordian shower doors are a bear to clean the mold out of the little grooves at the bottom; ditto glass shower doors.
If that gets to be a problem get the heavy duty shower curtains with the clear window on top and replace it every two years.

Never had a problem with ours.
All you need to do is leave the door open over night until all the water dries.
On our old trailer when we traded it for the one we have now it looked as good as when we first installed it.
On this trailer which is now in it's third year, we installed the accordion door the first week we had it, and it still looks new.
We live in our trailer for four months in the Florida Keys every winter too
