Irony, coincidence, bad timing, the VW AMAROK pickup truck!

Not sure if it's intended for the US market now or not, but saw this on my way home from work (I work at the Chrysler Tech Center). The VW TDI powered AMAROK pickup truck complete with M-Plate. Not a good day for VW but here it is:

Maximum payload 2500lbs. That matches the 06 f250 ext sb 5.4. 4x4 in our lot.

Yea not happy with that but most of it is from USA, better than the alternative. My old and new 98's are US made.

At least the 15's engines don't smell like "FISH" Burritos.

I can comment with tongue in cheek since I owned a 81VW Diesel PU and drove 300K with my knees against the dash in it.

I would assume this new "PU" is made in USA as mine was?
