Just came home today with our new Jayco Hardside ( A-frame ) Pop-up camper. Can't say I was thrilled with the delivery ( won't mention dealer ), but the trailer itself is quite impressive. For two people who spend very little time in the trailer, this is perfect for us. More info on it as we familiarize ourselves with it.

I want an A-liner so badly but it's not in our budget right now. We just got a used pop-up that we're going to use for most likely 5 years then switch over to an A-liner. Can you share any pics of yours once you've made it like your second home? Would love to see it. Congratulations!

To be honest, we have only had it out one weekend so far....... but , i would say that that would not be an issue

Been searching online and was wondering, do the walls sweat from moisture buildup?

Sounds good. Hopefully you've found something you can be satisfied with.

Long weekend for us here in Canada, so we took it out. Awesome is what we can say. Everything worked great, and yes, 30 seconds up n down...... ok, maybe a few minutes as we get used to it

Last time I looked at one of the Flagstaffs, I was pretty serious about it until I looked underneath. One of the water drains coming through the floor was about a 3/4" pipe IIRC, passing through a 2" or 2.5" hole. Nothing to keep critters or water from running right up past the pipe. I passed on the trailer.

I've heard plenty of good comments about Jaycos. You should have many years of happy camping with yours.

We did look at Flagstaff, which the local dealer sells. My preference is Jayco...... guess maybe i'm brand loyal..... they have a terrific Customer Service Dept. I have always been intrigued by the A-frame idea, and when Jayco/Starcraft started building them, i wanted one. Not sure my new Jayco is better than the others, but i can say one thing, it's damn awesome looking!

Did you look at any of the other brands (Aliner, Chalet, Rockwood/Flagstaff) besides the Jayco? If so, I'd be interested in your observations about how they all compared in construction, fit and finish. I've never seen a Jayco A-frame yet.
