Jayco screen room

Does anyone know of a screen room that will attach to the awning rail of a Jayco TT? The awning is 10 ft wide.

I had one for a few years and let it go with the RV..Wished I had kept it..You can't beat them for privacy or just adding a room as they are advertised..You can still tie down your awning for wind and or take part of it down, as I did a few times.You can just put up the section you want instead of the whole thing.Mine was in three parts,the one than ran down the awning groove and two side mounts that were put on by a spring bar.

Well worth having in my opinion.

At a seasonal I had, there were several people that purchased the attachable screen rooms to their awnings. After a year or two you didn't see them anymore. They got tired of zipping and unzipping the doorway every time they went in or out. I'd suggest a freestanding unit.

Thanks for the replys. We're still collecting info about what to do. Both types (freestanding and attached) have pros and cons.

IMO, not the best idea. Even though its a screen, it still catches wind like a sail.
Awnings on RV's do not do well in wind storms. Personally, (with much thanks from the owners) I have retracted awnings at campsites for people who went out for the day sightseeing and high winds and heavy rain would have ripped them off their trailers. I have seen filon sided trailer lose portions of the filon when the awning arms rip off the wall. It can be a very expensive entire wall repair.
If I also had to take down a screen room, it would have taken longer and might have been reluctant to do it .

I use a free standing screen room like the one in the link above because its quick to take down and set up. I never leave my awning deployed when in away from the trailer for any lengthy period of time, its just too risky.
I also have learned to roll it up at night . Most of time I sleep thru storms and would not be able to go out at 3 A.M. to roll it all up. I don't like touching metal awning arms during lightning storms. with my luck, it would energize me. :E

10 feet is awfully short for a travel trailer awning ... you sure? :@ To determine the length of a travel trailer awning measure the distance between centre of the left support arm to the centre of the right support arm ... length is that measured to the nearest foot and has nothing to do with the size of the fabric itself. A screen room for a travel trailer doesn't attach at all to the awning rail but rather to the roller tube and since it only makes sense to match the screen room to the make / model of awning you have, what is it? :@
