My bride and I are looking at an 2014 Outback 316RL travel trailer. Anyone know of any special problems with this trailer. Thanks

My 2013 340fbh has been good. Also had a 2010 329fbh, which was also good. Like any RV, there were some issues with both in the beginning but all handled under warranty. I would say the build quality is on par with other brands in the same price range.

Take my posts for what they are, opinions based on my own experiences.

The 316RL is very similar to the 298RE (mine). Only exception is the placement of what's in the two living room slides. For what it's worth, we love our Outback and have no problems with it. The only problem we had, the shower drain was installed incorrect. The drain pipe was not positioned right and the top of the pipe was actually higher than the shower pan (where you stand). This caused the hole to push upwards about a 3rd of an inch, meaning the water would stand in the shower and never go down the drain, as the hole was higher than the bottom of the pan. Warranty fixed this (it took them 3 days at the dealer), and we've not had any other issues .. none!

You'll love your Outback. FYI, check out the Outbackers.COM forums too. Lots of good information there specific to the Outback!

Congrats!
